Taste of Downtown Marion Returns This April 2026

Downtown Marion Inc. is bringing back one of the city’s most anticipated food events this spring with the return of Taste of Downtown Marion, a restaurant and bar crawl through the Historic Downtown district.

The event will take place Tuesday, April 28, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, giving attendees the chance to explore multiple downtown establishments while sampling a variety of local dishes and drinks.

How the Event Works

With the purchase of a $40 ticket, participants receive 10 tasting opportunities that can be used at participating locations throughout downtown. Each establishment will offer a unique sample, allowing guests to create their own culinary route for the evening.

Rather than following a fixed menu, attendees can decide which locations to visit and how to spend their tastings, making the experience flexible and interactive.

A Friendly Downtown Competition

Part of the evening’s fun includes a community judging element. Guests will help determine the winners in three featured categories:

• Downtown Marion’s Best Savory

• Downtown Marion’s Best Sweet

• Downtown Marion’s Most Creative

Participants will vote during the event, giving local restaurants and bars a chance to showcase their creativity and signature flavors.
