Downtown Cleanup Day Set for April 25 in Marion

Downtown Marion, Inc. is inviting the community to take part in a Downtown Cleanup Day on Friday, April 25, 2026.
Volunteers of all ages are encouraged to help clean and refresh the downtown district by picking up trash, sweeping sidewalks, tidying alleys, and freshening up flower beds. Whether you’re able to stay for the full event or just stop by for a short time, every effort helps make a visible difference.
The cleanup will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with volunteers meeting at Founders Park in downtown Marion.
This effort is part of ongoing work to maintain and improve the appearance of downtown, helping create a cleaner, more welcoming environment for residents, visitors, and local businesses. Participants are encouraged to register in advance, but walk-ups are also welcome on the day of the event.
A rain date has been scheduled for May 2, 2026, if needed.
