Downtown Marion, Inc. Hosts 2026 Appreciation Social at Fable Bar & Co.
Downtown Marion, Inc. brought together donors, sponsors, business owners, volunteers and community partners on Tuesday, September 22, for an Appreciation Social at Fable Bar & Co.
The relaxed, come-and-go gathering was created as a way to thank the people and organizations who continue to support, invest in and believe in Downtown Marion. Guests spent the evening connecting with fellow downtown supporters while celebrating the partnerships that help make DMI’s work possible.
A special thank you goes to Lily and Sophie, owners of Fable Bar & Co., for opening their doors and hosting the evening, and for their continued support of Downtown Marion and the downtown community.
Marcus McClellan of Boyd Funeral Home also went home as the winner of the evening’s door-prize mum.
The Appreciation Social was a chance to recognize something that can sometimes get lost behind the events, projects and improvements happening downtown: the people who help make them happen.
