100 Downtown Believers Campaign Launched to Support Downtown Marion

Downtown Marion Inc. is launching the 100 Downtown Believers Campaign, a focused, community-powered effort designed to secure the future of the programs, improvements, and momentum residents and visitors experience every year.

Recent changes in public funding mean the organization must lean more heavily on the people who value a thriving historic core. The goal is straightforward: one hundred individuals who are willing to stand behind downtown in a practical, measurable way.

Becoming a Downtown Believer means your support directly fuels the work people see and feel on the streets. It helps power signature gatherings such as Third Thursdays, the Fall Festival, Taste of Downtown, and the Cookie Walk. It supports beautification, seasonal décor, planters, lighting, and cleanup that make the district welcoming. It strengthens advocacy and resources for small businesses. It encourages new energy, new visitors, and future investment.

In short, it keeps progress moving into 2026.

The math is simple and intentional. One hundred donors contributing $750 each—either as a one-time commitment or $62.50 per month—creates a stable base that allows planning, contracting, and programming to happen with confidence rather than hesitation.
